Natural Interferon

Many folks get sick more often than they should. The reason is because they have poorly responding immune systems. A combination of environmental toxins, stressful lifestyles, lack of nutrition, sleep and exercise all contribute to weakening our immune system. How do we make it stronger so we can fight off infectious disease that is rising at an alarming pace?

Scientists have discovered that we can improve and strengthen our immune systems by boosting the natural interferon in our bodies. All of the factors above may weaken our body’s ability to make natural interferon, but it is possible to counter that with a natural interferon supplement.

A natural interferon immune builder supplement can enhance the natural interferon production in the body, making sure that the cells are filled with this substance that fights disease attacks. Unlike an echinacea supplement that can boost the immune system for a short time, daily use of natural interferon can consistently power the immune system.

Visualization & Immune System

Do you like to visualize pictures, events, dreams, desires, etc.?  The ability to do so can be part of strengthening your immune system.  There are other important factors as well, such as feeding your immune system the nutrients it needs to function at its best.

It’s not like you can simply think your way healthy, although there are some amazing stories about people doing that.  Still, we know that being happy and positive do have wonderful benefits to our health.

One interesting story I read about recently came from a famous cancer journal.  It is about a little boy with cancer.  He was no more than six years old and in a cancer center that housed children who would die from cancer.  The little boy had incurable cancer.

Improve Immune System

Let’s see how well you know your immune system facts.  What is your body’s first line of defense when you are exposed to germs, viruses, bacteria, and other illnesses?  It is your immune system.  Since the body is pretty much under attack from all of these threats every day (unless you live in seclusion), the immune system is very busy and it can be beneficial for you to have a strong one.

When exposed to a virus or bacteria, why doesn’t everyone get sick?  It is because some of us have better defenses than others.  That defense is centered around the immune system.  Better defense means stronger resistance, and getting sick less often than others who have weaker immune systems.

Immune System Challenges

I think we all agree that it’s a tough world out there, especially for the body’s immune system. On a daily basis we are exposed to viruses and bacteria that cause diseases, and even death. We live in an environment where we travel, or our neighbor travels, all over the world.

Even when there is not a major scare like the present Swine Flu (2009) that can be spread all over the world, our lives are fast paced which can lead to stress that weakens our immune system. Most of us have a hard time eating a healthy diet due to lack of time or the appeal of the drive through convenience. Even more of us struggle with getting enough rest or exercise that are both associated with better health. Our immune system is facing an uphill battle on a daily basis because these struggles actually lower our immune function.

While all of this is stacked against us there is good news. Our immune system is a highly complex system. It runs without much from us, and can run even better with a little attention. One component of the immune system is natural interferon that we all have present in our bodies. Interferon does its work at the very first and earliest stages of disease and infections, and attempts to stop them before reaching our cells.

Zinc to Improve Immune System

Does Zinc make a difference in your immune system function?  It sure does.  Zinc is also important to almost every organ in the body.  The daily recommendation of zinc is 15 milligrams, although some people may need more.

The average American gets only 6 to 12 milligrams from their food.  Women and teens appear to get the least.  If we are low in zinc and don’t  supplement with a multi-vitamin or separate zinc supplement, we can become deficient.  There are also certain medications that can lower the amount of zinc in the body.

We didn’t always have trouble getting enough zinc every day from our food.  One of the reasons why we don’t get as much now is because cereal is processed a different way than it used to be.   We used to be able to get 80% of the zinc we needed from a bowl of cereal in the morning.  Now, 80% of zinc is lost in the processing.

Back To School Viruses Spark Need to Improve Immune System

We are told that students, and young people in general, will be at high risk for the Swine Flu (H1N1 Virus).  Viruses can spread quickly among young children in schools.  College campuses are also very challenging in regard to germs passing quickly from one person to another.

Health authorities are warning that there are several considerations to prevent the flu from spreading:  1)  If you have the flu, stay home.  Keep kids home from school and college students stay in your room until you feel better.  You should remain out of school (or work for adults) until 24 hours after your fever has passed.  2)  Public transportation should be avoided (not a consideration if you are home where you are supposed to be).  3)  Bed rest and fluids are very important to feel better as soon as possible.

How Important Is An Immune Builder To You?

In 1976 there were mass inoculations, and I have not discovered whether there were more people who died from the swine flu or from the vaccine.  It appears to still be unverifiable.

Many fear that the current (2009) swine flu vaccine is being rushed to market and not tested enough.  There is a lot that is unknown.  How strong will the strain be?  Will the shot be safe?  Will there be enough of it to go around to everyone that should get it?  Who should get it?

I believe in building my immune system year round so that it is strong and can provide protection when I am exposed to viruses and other illnesses.  Plus I know that even if I would get sick, my symptoms would most likely be fewer and less intense, and I would recover quicker than someone with an immune system that was not operating optimally.
